Equipping Hospitals

In 2019, the Rotary Club of Nanyuki donated to the hospital a range of hospital equipment, that mainly support trauma patients and those in need of rehabilitation services. The items included walkers (wheeled and non-wheeled), commode chairs, bed pans and foot stools, among others. The leadership of these two organizations, focused on community service, agreed that this will mark the beginning of a long and mutually beneficial partnership. The Rotary Club of Nanyuki team was led by the President Joe Wainaina, while the Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital team was led by then Acting CEO, Dr Timothy Panga.
